Opposite effect

When I say left I mean right, when I say right I mean left.

Have you ever heard of how that when you have somebody describing or telling somebody something about how to do something somebody might say that that's not the best way to do it and you can do it this way?

One way you could think about it is that there are people on the internet to will say the opposite of something that might be wrong or incorrect and then 30 people will work towards to correct them but that person or whoever originally came up with saying whatever that they had said that was not correct was wrong and they were a smaller creator on the internet but because of their being a bigger creator who points out what a smaller creator did wrong then from that negative press is also equivalent to good press as such as if you get a bunch of people disliking your videos on YouTube consistently they are more loyal than a genuine follower who loves your stuff due to the fact that they will always be there for when you upload a new YouTube video to dislike it instead of hating the people who do silly stuff on the internet sometimes the opposite effect is actually what the original person wanted you to do in the first place instead of you just ignoring it in the first place and not paying any attention to it to not invoke that person who said the thing that was wrong to embrace them to grow their audience by saying silly stuff on the internet.

Big Examples

Another example of this is when Apple came out with the Mac Tower that looked like an actual cheese grater this time, where before it was a trash can. Shey sold wheels for the Mac Tower that you could use to roll it around. they launched at $400 or $399.99 shortly after within a day or two Apple thought that the wheels weren't expensive enough and then decided to increasingly raise the cost of the wheels for the Mac Tower all the way to $699.99 and we're talking wheels here.... wheels... Do you not know How many tech outlets and Media talked about this? It was like lighting fire inside of a Giant Mall that had a gas leak that built up so much fumes in the air that the most simplest spark would be able to make the whole place explode. not to mention while at the same time Apple is selling wheels for $700 a third party company OWC makes a conversion kit that allows you to keep the feet on the bottom of your Mac Tower but adds the additional feature to include wheels for only $199 completely slaying Apples asking price initially for $400. Who do you think won this battle? So that's one example of negative coverage being turned into a money making profitable situation. While everyone else's mind is melting.

You're the one coming up in the world and coming out on top.

Summary

There isn't anything called Bad Press. Use negative situations to come out on top. Don't allow a small pebble to turn into a giant avalanche.

If people want speak badly about you then there doing God's work to at least spread your name instead of if you were only doing good things and not knowing about the good your doing.
