Music Videos

I have created these music videos all from scratch by using After Effects & Cinema 4D. A typical creation of mine takes from start to finish 1 week to 3 weeks all depending on the length of the song and how many songs the artist may have. Some of these music videos I have made as a passion project for fun to just make them to show the music artist what's possible. There's another VFX Designer called Cole Bennett/ Lyrical Lemonade, he will essentially make visual effects for other artists essentially. That's sort of what's going on here.

I have met a few other artists on the internet and I have made a few videos for them, so this is my portfolio of what I have done so far.

Eideez (80's)

Eideez - Turnt Up

Eideez - Turnt Up

This was my first music video creation for Eideez. I used a heavy amount of after effects this video. I would make these videos and by the time I was done I had about 300 layers and my desktop was on its knees almost. The project file for After Effects was over 50 megabytes.

Eideez - Never Stop

Eideez - Never Stop

This music video when hard as well. Half way through this creation I dealt with a huge After Effects corruption that had thrown away a bunch of my work. Adobe is cursed and makes buggy software that runs on ancient code thats single thread optimized so while I was created this I only had what I had Pre-rendered to bake in what I had already made and try to save what I had made already with a Autosaved .aep file and I was at already 2 weeks into this project so I just cut short what I had made basically which was sad cause I had some really cool stuff I had done here but After Effects just went brain dead on me.

Eideez - Get It Down

Eideez - Get it Down

This music video there wasn't any album art for it at the time so I made up my own. This video was absolutely a crazy one to create as well. the base is a Cinema 4D animation I created thats only a few frames thats on a loop. Then I layer on top of it with After Effects.

Eideez - Woahh

Eideez - Woahh

This music video and with the series of these 3 songs Woahh, Pott, Big Boss I experimented with automations and hooking up different elements to Red Giant Sound Keys where you define spectrum of the audio in the sound and you can then create a sort of value from what you define from the Highs, Mids, and Lows. Your sort of box that your using to define with in the spectrum can be as big or as small as you want, then you can just output a value that you can use for any piece of other data you want it to control within your After Effects Comp.

Eideez - Up Your Rank

Eideez - Up Your Rank

This music video Up Your Rank and Asylum are sort of like siamese twins but with different visuals I have reused the different elements from both from a pool of the different elements. They where both made at the same time. I had originally created the elements then I mashed them up hard. Youtube really compressed the 2 videos I made pretty bad by the time I was done with Up Your Rank it was at 3.2 gigabytes and Youtube compressed it to about under 100 megabytes.

Ugly Joey

Ugly Joey - Damaged

This music video was as it was from Youtube I had to download it and then run in it through a scene analyzer to find where all the camera cuts where and then end on top of that work with what I could to try and then make it up for how I wanted to edit the video. I was trying to get a hold of the artist cause I met him on bumble. So I was trying to show Ugly Joey what I could do cause he lived locally as well so it would have been perfect. From what I remember nothing came of anything. I was trying to be able to film another music video and turn it up past 10. This is what I did and could work with for his video. I think I even asking for the original clips and try to work with clearer clips but never got them.

Lil Khyrie

Lil Khyrie - Beamer Gassin

This music video was great to work on, working with Lil Khyrie was great I got to try my hand at doing something different with using After Effects Rotoscope tool to visually cut out the subject in the video while the subject is in the foreground, and then the background is just the main clip and where you can keep the subject unaffected by anything you apply to the main clip you can just use the roto on top so that it can have a focused effect going on. you could blur out the background if you wanted, or distort the background completely it's a really cool effect.
