Program Shortcuts

(Master List)

About

This is a helpful list for when it comes to using your computer. Sometimes just using your computer along with shortcuts will give you that little extra topping of a better experience when using it.

I find it a lot easier than having to point and click an X with in Chrome cause after having maybe over 30 to 40 tabs it begins to be really hard to both select tabs and also either select the tab or just close the tab thats where "ctrl + w" would come in handy. if you have a pop up that happens too being quick to do ctrl + w is very handy. you trying to point to press x is slower than just slamming ctrl + w to close it. Hence why I made this great list and highlighting the most common and also great commands you could use in your daily life essentially.

MacOS Specific Only

Emoji's = Globe Key

Right Click Function = Hold down Key Labeled Control {It might seem lame but unless you go out of your way to go into MacOS Mouse settings and configure the mouse to do right clicks on Apple first party devices then you can use a 3rd party like Logitech mouse or etc to just do right clicking without this. The whole idea behind this single button approach was that Apple was truly able to get the mouse to be implemented first while MS-DOS was extremely limited to only keyboard commands.

Apples heritage isn't about the right click. It's about simplicity, then making it so that extra features are stuffed away in a menu, or learning shortcuts. Apple hasn't been always the one to be all that strong about power features and kling on to the left only click.

Then Windows comes along with there mimic of the mouse and going crazy about left and right clicking almost out of the gate. While MacOS has by default done stock setup with no right clicking out of the box and requires the user to go and manually configure the ability to have right click turned on without using the control key to right click.}
