This page is to bring awareness to the fact that I do offer repair services to my clients who need my services to exclusively repair there broken laptops, or mobile devices.
Terms of Repair
This is what I can do to repair your devices.
Out Of Warranty
I provide out of warranty repair, your device is over 1 year old and you don't want to risk breaking your device by opening it up the wrong way.
Non Certified Repair
I don't have any certifications from Samsung, Apple, or Google.
No Extra Parts
I don't have a bunch of inventory on hand for things like iPhone screens, screen protectors, and etc.
Out of Warranty
Why do I offer out of warranty repair? - When you send in a device to the manufacturer you normally have to ship off your product or device for about 2 to 3 weeks.
Before you ship in your device for warranty most of all manufacturers don't offer repair for self damage.
-
Water damage
-
Cracked screen
-
Camera lens damage
-
Charging port destroyed
-
Battery life below 60%
These typical things aren't covered in the stock warranty when you buy a device brand new.
When your break your screen on a iPhone 12 pro Apple has made it so that industry partners who provide Apple with there screens for there devices can't resell the parts for devices which they exclusively make to go into devices that Apple orders from them. This kills 3rd party repair for the iPhone 12 pro for an example. Not to mention when you replace a battery on your Apple device every above the iPhone 8 Plus starting with the iPhone X first gen, When your first replace your screen on an iPhone Xs you will lose the ability of "True tone" which adds a blend of warmer or cooler tones on your screen depending on your environment.
Every single part on the modern iPhones above the 8 plus devices have every component serialised which gives you a worse experience after your part has been replaced with a 3rd party part. There are "reprogramers" that have been created by reverse engineers but those types of tools are only really for repair shops that can actually make a profit from using them when there mostly over $500 to buy from sites like amazon. Not to mention some of these tools that have been made to reprogram 3rd party devices to have the same serials as the previous parts that were installed previously than last time can also not longer work because newer iOS updates can make them still not function as those programer tools used to work on older versions of iOS.
Benefits
You will want to have 3rd party out of warranty repair if your device you know isn't in warranty anymore or if your sure that the stock warranty you got with your device isn't going to be accepted by the company you got it from for self-damage that isn't covered under normal warranty repair.
Extra Parts
I don't keep extra parts on hand with the amount of new devices that are released year over year it wouldn't be all that profitable to keep 300 iPhone 8 plus screens on hand if not every has and uses that phone much anymore at all and it being a device that isn't in use compared to if everyone was just using an iPhone 11 pro.
A lot of screen protectors are under $20 on Amazon and do the job for what's needed for a lot of people. Most of the time your not just getting 1 screen protector but your getting 2 or 3 in a single pack. The purpose of the screen protector is to protect the screen underneath the display. Its the body armor to your body thats the protection to your screen on your mobile device. If your screen protector breaks after you have dropped your phone 2 or 3 times then thats what its designed to do. Over 3,000 different types of shapes and sizes of screen protectors are made and created for all different types of devices so theres not much of a need to make a screen protector that doesn't break because of the fact that your doing a psychical action to from where the screen protector its being dropped from your hands from a few feet off of where is being dropped from so its been designed and optimized for that use case.
If you are dropping your phone off of a 45 foot car garage then you can kiss your device good bye. Theres only so much kinetic force that a device can handle from a dropped impact.
Gallery of Repairs
I have a bunch of photos from my time working at a repair computer repair shop for a time of 1 year. There's also a mixture of person repairs I have done on my own in others peoples homes.

Microsoft Surface
This Tablet/ Laptop are terrible to repair. This Laptop/ Tablet has a poor top heavy design that makes it so that when you put the tablet on your lap like you would think to do makes it so that screen repairs are the highest thing thats always that needs to be replaced on this computers. The keyboard and the way that its attached loosely is very badly designed. The screen and the way its a attach to the body puts the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna ribbon in the worse spot when trying to remove the shattered glass and LCD of the Microsoft surface tablet. Its very easy to essentially break off and destroy those antenna wires off. When you pay Microsoft to repair the screen on your Surface Tablet on your $900 computer they only offer you to pay $700 which is only a $200 discount from going and rebuying the same computer tablet, and just disposing of your device in a landfill. Your data is located on a few Nand chips so if you break your screen you also lose your data absolutely completely so thats not fun at all. You can't upgrade your memory in the future at all either.
My recommendation would be to not buy this garbage just like why do I want to buy a keyboard for over $200. I would rather use an HP Envy or HP Spectre cause it has an x360 hinge design. Its not top heavy, great keyboard too. custom built laptops from HP's official website allow for upgradable memory, were as with best buy retail prebuilt configs have soldered memory that you can't upgrade. The HP Spectre also comes with a leather laptop sleeve and stylist included.
Apple Watches
Apple watches are designed to be E-wasted. They have a short life span. Apple is a very profit focused company. The repair ability for an Apple watch is nonexistent for them. Not very many people do the Apple watch repairs the small wires and ribbon cables within the device is very tiny and can rip and tear very easily.
You are able to find parts for the Apple watches but the ability and skill to replace it is very difficult for the average person to repair.
iPhone X and Beyond
As much as I would love to help you fix your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, 14 and beyond with me investing in custom Reverse engineered tools it allow me to work on them without me having those tools and being able to do screen reprogramming not to mention also reprogramming the batteries or vice versa it kind of makes the experience after the phone is repaired diminished once I have done the work to open up the phone and work on it that you receive a worse experience after your phone has been repaired. that isn't anything that I have done but it is the action of Apples anti repair measures for third parts to be installed in their phones and more modern devices.
TV's
Then it comes to TV repairs there isn't much that I can do there with that. I have not ever worked on repairing a TV before. There large and cumbersome to try and work on. TV's are also designed to have a designated lifespan of under 3 to 4 years in normal use. They aren't like the old days where a single TV can work for 25 years and never have any issues at all. Times have changed the way TV's are designed today are actually designed with being manufactured at a loss these large companies that manufacture them. They make there returns on a secondary revenue stream now.
TV manufacturers profit margins are absolutely slim today at 6% from whereas before margins were at 20%. They need to convert from a single time profit of a purchase every 6 to 8 years into having a product that's efficiently cheap that everyone can own a TV, while also at the same time maintaining staying in business.
Smart TV's are the hip new thing. They profit in 3 sort of ways.
-
Tracking (launching an application, watching cable, dvd's) - It does this through ACR [Automatic Content Recognition] to figure out what your doing no matter what your watching, it does this by sending this data to the tv manufacturer and a 3rd party company. They send this data to Amazon, Facebook, Google, Netflix. It will continue to send data about what your watching even if you don't launch Netflix or activate the smart TV application that's installed on your Smart TV.
-
Creating there own ads that they display on the home screen.
-
Partnering with media companies - They use this by allowing you to watch some free content but at the expense of running high value ads that are from other companies from ideas from how maybe the next new hot superhero movie is coming out well the company who made the TV is getting a kickback and the channel in which your watching the content on is also making some money from your being the product.
In summary the cost of TV's have gotten cheap but then also gotten extremely good at extracting data out of you to keep the business of selling you a TV after TV year over year. There has been a report/ study on that they could make a 75 inch TV be $3,000 and only sell 5 of them in a single year or make 7,000 of the same TV and sell them for the cost of $400 to $600 extract a huge amount of data to then make 1.9 billion dollars from just a single model of a TV that they might sell. So if your angry about how the TV is farming your data and also only lasting 3 Years thats what its come down to in society it's all just about big data and the ways in which they can use it to then go and make more data from that to then go and retarget you.
I have left a Youtube Video below that fully goes over all of this.
Monitors
Then it comes to Monitor repairs there isn't much that I can do there with that. I have not ever worked on repairing a Monitor before. There difficult to try and work on, most of the time there made cheaply with cheap components that don't last. Monitor's are also designed to have a designated lifespan of around 3 to 5 years in normal use.
Learn on YouTube
