These are extensions that I personally use. I am not paid to tell you about these great extensions, there just great things I use all the time.
Tools, Privacy & Ad Block
Privacy Badger
Instead of keeping lists of what to block, Privacy Badger automatically discovers trackers based on their behavior.

This is different than ad blocking cause, ad block only controls the ads from not loading. This stops the tracking.
Privacy Badger sends the Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of data sharing and selling, and the Do Not Track signal to tell companies not to track you.
If trackers ignore your wishes, Privacy Badger will learn to block them.
Font Fingerprint Defender
This extension simply adds a small noise to the actual fingerprint and "renews" it every time you visit a website or reload a page. It is important to note that, this add-on does not have any settings or options to adjust. Simply add it to your browser and start surfacing the internet.
A fingerprint is simply about, what is the specs of your system what is Operating system, are you on mobile or desktop, what browser are you using, the version of your browser, so many little tiny things, one of the new things there tracking are the fonts that are installed on your system as well.
There's an increasing battle on your privacy to trying to identify who you are on the internet. This helps add noise to help you fit in with huge amount of noise to make it harder for advertisers to know who you are.
SponsorBlock for YouTube
This is another great extension, you maybe blocking Google's youtube ads but you have to now deal with the in-video youtuber sponsor spots that are baked into the videos. This is the best community sourced extension ever that helps to cut down and remove all the pesky annoying parts of the videos you watch all the time, everyone benefits from using this extension.
From what I have noticed is that if I wait about 2 hours to 6 hours before I watch my next youtube videos then all the other people who have contributed to helping and doing the work to remove the sponsor spots then make it perfect viewing experience.
I can't ever do back to listening to LTT plug his silly lltstore dot com website like 5 times a video, then this extension is for you.
Productivity

This extension should be a native feature of Google Chrome from day one. This extension makes any video playing media play on top of all your windows allowing you to watch videos while working on all your different programs. Also google published this extension as well so thats a good thing.
